Location: Wildlife of Middlefork Savannah, Elawa Park, Lake Forest, IL

The mosaic and bronze strip represents the natural landscape and indigenous wildlife of the area surrounding Elawa Park, Middlefork Savannah. The frieze is located in a children’s playground, at child height, easily touched by small children. Fourth graders in the area were given photos of the native species and asked to create drawings that were translated into bronze.
